Taking Chances keeps you invested from the first chapter to the last. The book starts out with a young Angela experiencing a traumatic attack, but then jumps to her life in the future. Readers who find the first chapter a bit grim will want to keep reading, because things become less bleak for Angela as an adult and the story has fantastic twists and turns. I enjoyed her dynamic with her boss and the tension between them as they clash while trying to achieve a common goal. Well-written and enjoyable read, would recommend!
